Last Saturday we hosted a very interesting talk by Mike Charman on the services provided by the Kent Surrey and Sussex air ambulance service. This charity provides valuable support to the NHS and costs over £20million each year to run. Over 90% of income is through donations and fundraising. It has a fleet of 3no helicopters and 4no rapid response vehicles, providing 24 hour support through the three counties.

On Saturday we carried out our second litter pick session, this time around the shops area at The Mulberry. Weather was a bit touch and go, but we still managed to fill several bags with litter collected, these were picked up by Worthing Council later in the day.
