Ferring Conservation Group litter pick

Last Sunday some of us from the GRA joined a group from our neighbours at Ferring for a litter pick session. A large group met to cover the concrete roads and verges to the farmers fields on the Southern Gap. An enormous amount of litter and rubbish was collected, some shown in the photo; plus a number of large items, including mattress, paint tins, an electric mower and some asbestos cement sheeting was also put aside for collection by Adur and Worthing Council. We continue with our efforts to improve the landscape of Goring.
