Quiz night

Last Saturday we had a great evening with our quiz night. We seem to either get a stifling heatwave or a huge gale force storm to accompany our events. The hall though was lovely and warm and we couldn’t hear any wind from inside.

The quiz thoroughly tested our little grey cells. Quiz master Brian set a mixed array of questions. We ended up with four teams on the same amount of points for 1st place. Good job Brian had lots of tie breakers!

We had a raffle with some of the prizes donated by Wall Brothers. Thanks for the kind donation. Mid way we had a fish and chip supper, seen being enjoyed by all in the photo.

Thank you to everyone who attended and, or donated on what was a horrible night weather wise. We really appreciate you venturing out. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

We managed to make £418 for this year's nominated charity Chestnut Tree House.
