August Litter picking session

For our August litter picking session, last Saturday we cleared a section of Amberley Drive, west of the Plantation. This is the concrete road through the cornfields, forming part of the southern Goring Gap. We collected a large amount of litter, ranging from cans, bottles and even suspension brackets from a car, plus sofa cushions. The general rubbish was bagged and left for Worthing council to collect; bottles and cans were taken for recycling and the other large items were taken to the Household Recycling Centre.
